Canopy Walkway

Taking Ethical Elephant Tourism To New Heights – Literally!

The Canopy Walkway at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary has been designed to offer rescued elephants the freedom to roam around, bathe, socialize and bathe freely in 30 acres of tropical jungle. It is 500 metres long and offers visitors a unique perspective of the forest and elephants below.

“Our mission has always been to create an environment that mirrors the elephants’ natural habitat as closely as possible, allowing them the space and freedom they deserve after a lifetime of hard work.

From day one, our elephants have roamed, foraged, and bathed freely in our lakes and streams, while visitors observe them respectfully from a safe distance.

The addition of the Canopy Walkway is a meaningful step in our commitment to their wellbeing. It allows visitors an unparalleled view of elephants thriving in their natural environment, highlighting the serene beauty of forest life while promoting a respectful, observation-driven experience.”
